Crash on startup please help

I can't recall the last time any game gave me these many problems. I have a GEFORCE 970 GTX video card. Xcom 2 crashes on startup everytime from steam. I have reinstalled, verified countless times. Reading this log it seems it's not using my video card.

Why won't the game use my video card and instead choose the generic ghx driver? How do i force the damn game to use my card so i can actually play? I seen the resolution 0x0 so I did this fix.
Right click on XCom2 in the Steam Library Select Properties Click the "Set Launch Options" button Type -Windowed -SizeX=1280 -SizeY=720 into the box and hit OK Try and launch the game. After i do this the game does launch but the resolution is stuck at 1280/720 there is no option to change at all. I have tried to force 1920/1080 in the ini files but it does not work. Again the game is not reading my video card so it's driving the resolution from the generic. If anyone can provide any insight here i'd appreciate i've spent hours on this and it's really driving me crazy!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
